Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our construction company as a Purchaser and Projects Coordinator. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating procurement activities while overseeing and supporting project management tasks. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the success of our projects by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services, while effectively managing project schedules and resources.

Responsibilities:

  1. Purchasing:

  2. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify procurement needs for construction projects.

  3. Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
  4. Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and budget constraints.
  5. Track and expedite delivery of materials and equipment to meet project timelines.

  6. Monitor inventory levels, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement effective inventory management strategies.

  7. Projects Coordination:

  8. Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

  9. Track project progress, and propose proactive solutions to keep projects on track.

  10. Provide day-to-day project reports to the management.

  11. Documentation:

  12. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.

  13. Review and evaluate supplier performance, resolving any issues or disputes in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in purchasing and procurement within the construction industry.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Excel and Sage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2, AED3,500.00 per month
