Job Description

• Works as part of MEA Quality Team to monitor activities on site-based projects
• Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge to the completion of significant quality assignments.
• Conducts project quality reviews and audits as required.
• Provides leadership for quality assurance and quality control support on assigned programme(s) and/or areas to ensure that the project is designed, procured and installed in accordance with customer and company quality requirements.
• Analyzes, evaluates and plans methods of approach, as well as organises means to achieve solution of complex technical problems.
• Reviews project process and evaluates results.
• Provides technical consultation to engineers, technicians and inspectors.
• Reviews whether quality inspection methods and tests are in accordance with the project quality plan and project requirements & Specifications.
• Monitoring the materials delivery and storage activities are in compliance with the approved materials and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site surveillance inspections.
• Prepare quality reports.
• Review the site test procedures and submissions.
• Monitoring the inspections & tests
• Review site inspection Test Plans (ITPs) as required.
• Review inspection requests as required.
• Performing and controlling daily quality activities, procedures, inspection, and reporting.
• Use of necessary measuring and test equipment required for the performance of designed tests.
• Report any deviations (Non-Conformance Report) from the required specifications or standards
• Monitoring Document control and Inspection Logs.
• Attend Work Inspection Request and Material Inspections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Develop and maintain quality management documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues.
• Conduct training sessions on quality standards and procedures for project team members.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance audits.
