The MEP Fit-Out Engineer is responsible for the planning, execution, supervision, and coordination of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works within interior fit-out projects. The role ensures that MEP installations are carried out as per design, quality standards, and project schedules in coordination with other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:Technical & Site Execution

  • Review MEP design drawings, IFCs, and shop drawings to ensure alignment with fit-out layouts and specifications.
  • Plan and execute MEP works in coordination with civil, joinery, and finishing teams.
  • Prepare method statements, material submittals, and ensure approval from consultants/clients.
  • Supervise installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire-fighting systems.
  • Conduct inspection of site activities to ensure work quality and compliance with approved standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and work progress.

Planning & Coordination

  • Develop weekly and monthly MEP progress schedules aligned with overall project timelines.
  • Coordinate with Project Engineer, Site Engineer, and foremen to maintain workflow balance.
  • Attend site coordination and technical meetings with consultants and clients. Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare daily site reports, inspection requests (IR), material inspection requests (MIR), and site observations.
  • Ensure that all MEP works meet local authority standards (e.g., ADDC, ADMCC, DCD).
  • Support in obtaining necessary NOCs, approvals, and clearances.
  • Ensure safety measures and compliance with HSE policies at the site.

Testing & Commissioning

  • Manage testing and commissioning of all MEP systems before handover.
  • Prepare as-built drawings and O&M manuals for client submission.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Must have Minimum 3–6 years of experience in interior fit-out / MEP coordination projects in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems in interior spaces.
  • Familiar with local authority regulations (ADDC, DCD, etc.).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools.
  • Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3, AED5,500.00 per month
