Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and driven Home Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining smart home systems that enhance comfort, security, and energy efficiency. You will work closely with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to provide reliable and efficient home automation solutions tailored to the specific needs of each project. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in home automation technologies and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and design customized smart home automation solutions (lighting, climate control, security, entertainment).
  • Install and configure a variety of smart devices, including thermostats, lighting, security cameras, locks, and entertainment systems.
  • Integrate various smart systems (e.g., Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit) to ensure seamless device operation.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to system functionality and performance.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support, ensuring system reliability.
  • Offer guidance and post-installation training to homeowners on how to operate the installed systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in smart home technology and automation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in home automation or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency with smart home platforms (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Savant) and IoT protocols (e.g., Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi).
  • ·Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Experience in home networking, security systems, and energy management is a plus.
