Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced
Bid Estimator
with strong Facilities Management (FM) background to prepare accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and proposals for both hard and soft service contracts. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of FM operations, pricing models, and UAE market benchmarks.

This role is crucial in supporting the business development and operations teams to win

new contracts and ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals for FM tenders.
  • Analyze client requirements, site surveys, and RFP documents to develop accurate bids.
  • Coordinate with procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
  • Support the preparation of commercial and technical submissions.
  • Develop cost models and pricing structures based on scope of work and SLAs.
  • Ensure all tenders and proposals are submitted on time and in compliance with client specifications.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to assess resource allocation, manpower, and materials.
  • Conduct post-tender analysis and provide insights to improve future bids.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Facilities Management.
  • Minimum
    5–8 years of estimation experience
    within the
    Facilities Management or MEP
    industry in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of FM service lines (MEP, Cleaning, Security, Landscaping, etc.).
  • Excellent knowledge of tendering procedures and contract structures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, estimation software, and costing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
