Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Content Specialist based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves creating and managing engaging social media content, developing strategies to grow online presence, and overseeing various social media channels. Additional responsibilities include analyzing social media performance metrics, optimizing campaigns, and collaborating with marketing teams to align social media activities with broader digital marketing goals. This position requires creativity, communication excellence, and technical expertise in the social media landscape and content creation.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media, or a related field
  • 4–6 years of proven experience
    in social media content creation for
    business / brand accounts
  • Experience working with
    B2B and/or lifestyle brands
    (HORECA experience is a strong advantage)

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation
  • Experience in Digital Marketing with a strong background in Marketing strategy
  • Strong Communication skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure campaign performance and optimize strategies
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and its unique marketing requirements is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred

  • Strong experience in
    content creation across multiple formats
    (static, video, motion)
  • Proven ability in
    product photography
    (studio & lifestyle)
  • Skilled in
    video shooting and editing
    for social media platforms
  • Experience creating:
  • Social media posts
  • Stories
  • Reels
  • TikToks
  • Short-form and long-form video content
  • Strong understanding of
    visual storytelling
    and brand consistency

Software & Technical Skills

  • Proficient in:
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Canva (advanced level)
  • Experience with
    AI tools
    for content creation, editing, and optimization
  • Strong
    photo retouching and editing skills
  • Video editing proficiency using relevant tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent)

Digital & Web Skills

  • Experience with
    website content editing
    (CMS-based platforms such as WordPress or similar)
  • Ability to prepare and optimize visuals for
    web use
  • Basic understanding of
    SEO, image optimization, and web-friendly formats
    is a plus
