Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Associate with strong experience in audit, tax and advisory to join our expanding team. The role involves managing client deliverables, reviewing financial statements of accounting clients, executing statutory audits, delivering tax and transfer pricing assignments, performing internal control reviews, and developing policies and process documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Audit & Assurance
Lead and execute statutory, internal and special purpose audits
Prepare audit plans, working papers and financial statements
Review client accounting records for accuracy and IFRS compliance
Identify audit risks and prepare management letters
Review of Accounting & Bookkeeping Clients
Review monthly, quarterly and annual financials prepared by bookkeeping teams
Perform analytical reviews and reasonableness checks
Identify accounting errors, misclassifications and inconsistencies
Coordinate with accounting teams to resolve issues before finalisation
Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements
Tax & Compliance
Manage UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance assignments
Prepare returns, computations and advisory memorandums
Support tax structuring and impact analysis projects
Advise clients on regulatory changes and tax planning opportunities
Transfer Pricing
Prepare benchmarking studies and financial analyses
Draft and review intercompany agreements
Assist with Master File / Local File documentation
Support transfer pricing policy development
Internal Controls & Risk Advisory
Conduct internal control reviews and internal audits
Document processes using flowcharts and narratives
Identify control gaps and recommend improvements
Support COSO-based framework implementation
Policies, SOPs & Advisory
Prepare and review finance manuals, policies and standard operating procedures
Support policy implementation and training
Assist in proposal development and business development activities
Client Management
Department-level interaction with client finance teams and management
Manage timelines and multiple assignments
Mentor junior team members and interns
Support partner-level delivery on key engagements
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
CA / ACCA (qualified)
Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
