Asset Management Officer

Core Duties

  • Monitor and supervise asset life cycles through field inspections and inventory management
  • Manage and update the Authority s land register in coordination with Dubai Municipality and the Land Department
  • Conduct field surveys to assess land utilization rates and prepare reports for stakeholders
  • Register and evaluate lands, coordinating with relevant authorities as required
  • Implement inspection plans to check technical and operational status of assets across departments
  • Follow up on corrective actions for unused assets and prepare reports on outcomes
  • Supervise field visits for asset evaluation and scrapping requests, ensuring accurate reporting
  • Manage asset transfer processes, governance procedures, and billing via the Maximo system
  • Prepare and oversee selective inventory plans, consolidating results for senior management
  • Ensure compliance with disposal procedures for assets and materials in the GRP system
  • Coordinate contractual orders and sealing of assets in Maximo with the Procurement Department
  • Support asset-related committee work to ensure performance and maximize value
Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree or Higher Diploma in Business Administration from a recognized university

  • Knowledge of asset management systems such as Maximo and GRP preferred
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
  • Experience in field inspections, inventory planning, and asset evaluation is advantageous
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external authorities
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • UAE Nationals only
