Job Description:

We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer with a strong background in Aluminum and Façade works to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess significant site experience, ensuring that all quality standards are met throughout the lifecycle of the projects. This role requires an individual with keen attention to detail, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to solving quality-related challenges on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control procedures for aluminum and façade projects to ensure compliance with contract specifications, standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections, material testing, and audits to verify that materials, workmanship, and construction processes meet required quality standards.
  • Review and ensure the correct installation and fitting of aluminum and façade systems at all project stages.
  • Monitor and track quality performance indicators and ensure any non-compliance is addressed promptly.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, and site teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare detailed quality control reports, documentation, and records for ongoing projects.
  • Ensure that all quality documentation (including test reports, inspection records, and approvals) is organized and stored properly.
  • Perform visual inspections and detailed checks of installed façade systems to ensure compliance with approved designs, codes, and quality standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
  • Provide technical guidance to site teams on quality standards, materials handling, and product installations.
  • Monitor the safe handling and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment in compliance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure that quality requirements are understood and adhered to.
  • Participate in progress meetings and provide quality-related updates to management and project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in QA/QC engineering in the Aluminum and Façade industry, with direct involvement in site activities.
  • UAE Driver's License is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality standards, procedures, and materials used in aluminum and façade systems (e.g., glass, aluminum cladding, curtain walls).
  • Strong familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and methods related to façade systems.
  • Experience with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, EN standards, etc.).
  • Proficient in conducting inspections, material testing, and reviewing submittals for façade systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA/QC software tools.
