Role Summary

The
Technical & Operations Manager (TOM)
serves as the
Accountable Manager
responsible for ensuring full technical compliance, documentation integrity, component lifecycle control, and MRO vendor quality oversight. This role is critical to the sustainability and expansion of the company's aviation component operations and is central to the evaluation, development, and implementation of the
Rotable Exchange Program planned for 2026
.

The TOM provides strategic and operational leadership across technical, regulatory, and supplier management functions, ensuring compliance with international aviation authority requirements while supporting commercial competitiveness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Act as the
  Accountable Manager
  for all technical and regulatory matters.
• Ensure continuous compliance with
  GCAA, EASA, FAA
  , and applicable quality standards including
  ASA-100 and AS9120
  .
• Maintain oversight of airworthiness, certification status, and technical records for all components.
• Lead regulatory audits, inspections, approvals, and corrective action processes.

Documentation & Quality Management

• Ensure accuracy, traceability, and integrity of all technical documentation, including but not limited to:
• Certificates of Release to Service (EASA Form 1 / FAA
• Work scopes, maintenance records, and technical files
• Develop, implement, and maintain technical procedures, manuals, and internal controls.
• Monitor and improve quality management systems and compliance frameworks.

Component Flow & Rotable Program Management

• Oversee component flow from induction through repair, certification, storage, and release.
• Lead feasibility assessment, planning, and implementation of the
  Rotable Exchange Program
  , ensuring technical viability, cost control, and customer value.
• Collaborate with commercial and logistics teams to optimize turnaround times and inventory utilization.

MRO Vendor & Supplier Management

• Approve, audit, and continuously monitor
  MRO vendors
  for quality, performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor contracts from a technical and quality perspective.
• Ensure suppliers meet customer, regulatory, and internal technical standards.

Strategic & Stakeholder Engagement

• Provide technical leadership to support sales, leasing, and customer engagements.
• Leverage industry reputation and professional network to strengthen partnerships and competitive positioning.
• Act as a technical authority in discussions with customers, regulators, and strategic partners.

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 10 years
  of experience in aviation technical management, MRO operations, airline materials engineering, or maintenance planning.
• Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining certifications with
  GCAA, EASA, FAA
  , and
  ASA-100 / AS9120
  standards.
• Bachelor's Degree
  in
  Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering
  , or a related aviation discipline.

Preferred / Highly Valued

• EASA Part-66 License (B1 and/or B2)
• Dangerous Goods (DG) certification
• MRO or equivalent aviation technical certification
