Production Engineer

PIPECARE Group is looking for the Production Engineer who will be responsible for managing and leading a team of people in allocating workload and managing the day-to-day operations in the workshop. It requires the job holder to co-ordinate resources and liaises with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and to a quality standard.

Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities

• Review , Study Any New Design or new work orders are managed correctly Prepare BOM; based on mechanical / electronics design
• prepare and manage the Machine Shop and Fabrication Monthly production plan through digital production Module on ERP. Monitor the weekly /Monthly reports for the workshop through digital production on ERP.
• Responsible for the handover of All Carried Out Work by Machine Shop to QHSE to performs incoming and outgoing inspection on all parts and assemblies or delegates that work.
• Manage the manpower of production line; Make Sure Production Lines are Aligned with Pre Assembly Team Requirements For tool preparation and Spares Parts
• Create yearly or quarterly budget for running UAE Workshop
• Responsible for Issuing All Requests to SCM To purchase of materials, fixings and fastenings and machine tools to ensure the smooth progression of projects through the workshop
• To develop and implement a system to ensure regular maintenance service for the machinery and for breakdown related activities
• Prepare Workshop Improvement plans for UAE Workshop , Review Work Process and Suggest Automated Solution to reduce Workload and Cost
• To be able to resolve all technical issues of all production lines at workshop: production lines are Polyurethane, mechanical production, electronics and Assembly.
• Arrange and follow All type shipments for production, raw material for production lines or final products going out from workshop (final check for all Tools and Spares before release to project site and ensure all checklists to be signed properly)

Skills/Experience:

• • Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Mechanical/Mechatronics.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as Production Planning Engineer/ Manufacturing Engineer or workshop manager / Asst. Production Manager in Automative Industry , Oil and Gas , Any Familiar Industry
• Advance GMP / Lean manufacturing training and implementation skills
• Experience in planning and validation of mechanical and electronic products.
• Knowledge in detailed planning, task management, improving coordination between departments, product validation, and product improvement.
• Knowledge Exposure ERP, AutoCAD, Autodesk inventor, Solid works, Office, Microsoft excel advanced is A must , CNC programming of machinery is Advantage

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
• Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
• Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
• Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
• Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
