Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer – Aluminum & Façade to lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities for aluminum and façade projects based in Al Quoz. The role involves ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and UAE regulations across factory fabrication and site installation works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection & test plans (ITPs) for aluminum and façade works.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved shop drawings, method statements, and relevant standards.
  • Conduct inspections for fabrication, installation, glazing, and finishing works at factory and site levels.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors for inspections, audits, and mock-up approvals.
  • Review and approve material submittals, samples, method statements, and quality documentation.
  • Identify non-conformances (NCRs), root causes, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Monitor quality performance and prepare QA/QC reports for management review.
  • Support testing activities including façade performance testing, water tests, and material tests.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to QA/QC inspectors and engineers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of QA/QC experience in aluminum and façade projects (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of façade systems such as curtain wall, cladding, glazing, louvers, and unitized systems.
  • Hands-on experience in factory QA/QC and site installation inspections.
  • In-depth understanding of international standards (ASTM, BS, EN) and UAE authority requirements.
  • Experience working with consultants and third-party testing agencies in the UAE.
