Admin-cum-Accountant

The Admin-cum-Accountant is responsible for managing daily administrative operations along with handling basic to intermediate accounting tasks. The role ensures smooth office functioning while maintaining accurate financial records, supporting management, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Accounting Responsibilities
- Maintain daily bookkeeping and data entry in Tally/ERP or accounting software.
- Prepare vouchers: payment, receipt, sales, purchase, journal, and contra.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable; follow up on outstanding payments.
- Handle petty cash, expense tracking, and daily/monthly reconciliation.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and maintain cash/bank books.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Support monthly/quarterly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet basics).
- Manage vendor invoices, purchase orders, delivery challans, and payment schedules.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Handle calls, emails, correspondence, and communication with clients/vendors.
- Maintain office documentation, filing systems, and records (digital + physical).
- Monitor office supplies, coordinate purchases, and manage vendor relationships.
- Maintain employee attendance, leave records, and basic HR documentation.
- Arrange meetings, travel bookings, events, and scheduling for management.
- Manage office housekeeping, maintenance requests, and facility coordination.
- Assist with onboarding, employee file management, and administrative HR tasks.
Required Skills
- Strong accounting knowledge & proficiency in Tally/ERP systems.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and responsibility.
- Professional attitude, confidentiality, and time management.
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
- 1–5 years experience in combined Accounts + Admin roles.
