Role Overview

We are looking for a
Junior Logistics Specialist
to support our Logistics Lead in managing day-to-day logistics and freight operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and an interest in international shipping and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Logistics Lead in coordinating
    freight bookings
    (air, sea, and road).
  • Prepare and manage
    shipping documentation
    , including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Track and update
    shipment status
    with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers.
  • Help maintain
    import/export compliance records
    and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Support coordination of
    customs clearance
    and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate proactively with vendors and internal teams to ensure
    on-time delivery
    .
  • Maintain the
    logistics database
    and assist with weekly reporting on shipment metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration
    , or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain support.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of
    Incoterms
    , international shipping documentation, and freight processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office
    tools, and
    ERP
    systems.
  • Fluent in
    English
    ; knowledge of
    Arabic or Chinese
    is a plus.
