Citadel Health Management is pleased to invite applications from Emirati nationals (UAE Nationals) for the position of Male Junior Accountant.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Male Junior Accountant who has up to 1 year of relevant accounting experience. The selected candidate will provide support to the finance & accounting team and gain hands-on exposure to day-to-day accounting operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop cost-based accounting practices in company expense booking and maintain department-wise revenue recognition for profitability analysis.
  • Prepare MIS reports of relevant areas.
  • Prepare estimated monthly cash flow requirements of the company.
  • Handle payroll preparation & WPS transfers.
  • Carry out instructions and tasks as directed by management to support finance functions.
  • Prepare financial closing entries, provisions, and check trial balances.
  • Prepare annual project reports and yearly financial statements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to clarify accounting entries.
  • Make journal, payment, and receipt entries for daily and monthly transactions.
  • Verify PR-related bills and other payments.
  • Prepare monthly referral incentives and process cheques.
  • Compile data and prepare monthly financial reports for review.
  • Reconcile transactions and financial data with the accounting system.
  • Pre-audit and verify employee expense claims for compliance.
  • Interpret and apply accounting policies and procedures to resolve issues.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1 year of accounting/finance experience (internships or academic projects can count).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, basic reports).
  • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills (English; Arabic is a plus).
  • Ability to work under supervision as well as take initiative.
