Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver detailed BIM models and CAD drawings for highway and road design projects
  • Interface regularly with engineering, digital delivery, and production teams on modeling and drafting requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior BIM modelers and drafting staff
  • Support Roads Digital Design and Delivery Lead and engineering leads to ensure compliance with project policies and processes
  • Develop engineering drawings including layouts, arrangements, assemblies, and detailed components from sketches and design data
  • Manage BIM-related activities from project startup through to completion
  • Review drawings for accuracy, clarity, presentation quality, and adherence to company QA and QC standards
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve model coordination and clash issues
  • Use Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and preparation of clash reports
  • Extract quantities and support scheduling outputs from BIM models
  • Contribute to training material development and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Perform additional duties related to BIM and CAD support as required

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma in Civil Engineering, with a Bachelor s degree considered an advantage

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a Civil Engineering diploma or 8 years with a Bachelor s degree in civil engineering roles
  • Strong practical knowledge of Civil 3D and Dynamo tools
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Common Data Environments such as ProjectWise, BIM360, or ACC
  • Solid understanding of BIM processes, LOD requirements, and model management
  • Ability to create parametric and non-parametric BIM content
  • Good command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and advanced modeling techniques
  • Ability to handle complex modeling and drafting assignments independently
