Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and daily coordination with engineering, production, and digital delivery teams
  • Support junior BIM and CAD staff with modeling techniques, workflows, and standards
  • Utilize Civil 3D, Dynamo, and other modeling tools for highway design packages
  • Work with Digital Design and Delivery Leads to achieve full compliance with project processes and digital requirements
  • Develop and review engineering drawings including layouts, assemblies, sections, and isometric views
  • Manage BIM activities from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to LOD requirements and modeling standards
  • Create parametric and non-parametric BIM content and families
  • Review drawings for accuracy, clarity, QA/QC compliance, and production standards
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to resolve coordination issues and ensure model consistency
  • Use Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection, clash reporting, and model coordination
  • Extract quantities, schedules, and design information directly from BIM models
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Common Data Environment platforms including ProjectWise, BIM360, and ACC
  • Contribute to training material development and support digital capability building across the team
  • Perform additional BIM and CAD responsibilities as required

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma in civil engineering with minimum 20 years of experience, or bachelor s degree with minimum 15 years of experience

Strong command of AutoCAD and solid experience with Autodesk Civil 3D

Knowledge of Dynamo, Navisworks, Openroads, MicroStation, and digital design tools

Very good understanding of BIM processes, LOD requirements, and digital project workflows

Experience using Common Data Environment platforms such as ProjectWise and BIM360 or ACC

Strong capability to supervise BIM Modelers and BIM Analysts

Excellent understanding of advanced modeling techniques and engineering principles

Ability to communicate effectively in English and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams

Good track record producing high-quality models and technical drawings for major highway projects
