Job Description: We are seeking an Architect, who will be responsible for developing concept design, review architectural detail design package and validate the same. Further extract quantities through BIM/CADD for the trade of works of High-rise Tower constructions and coordinate with procurement, interior designer and quantity surveyor team. The role will involve designing and managing various architectural projects, creating and reviewing construction drawings, coordinating with consultants and internal team, and ensuring project success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Making feasibility reports, completing drawings and identifying and solving problems in building plans, prototypes, and structures.
  • Review, analyze and approve architectural and engineering plans in order to assure that high rise towers are designed in accordance with applicable construction standards.
  • Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment and best practices.
  • Provide technical engineering expertise and consultation to staff, responding to specific licensure/certification questions and concerns during the plan review process.
  • Utilize 3D texture, modeling, mapping, and other methods to craft visual effects, graphics, and animations. Assess 3D arts and make suggestions. Meet with designers, clients, and management to discuss and review projects and deadlines. Collect feedback from directors, designers, animators, and clients.
  • Have understanding of authority regulations like DM, DDA and Trakhees
  • Ensuring building systems are functional, reliable, and safe
  • Testing and evaluating building systems to find problems and improvements
  • Supervise other engineers, coordinate with technical teams and follow up with them
  • Review project plans, specifications, construction agreements and perform field inspections

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Building Technology
  • Minimum 5 years Mandatory experience as an Architect with Developers/Arch Consultant in Dubai
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior architects and BIM/Cadd Draftsman technicians.
  • An eye for creativity and details
