Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Legal Advisor to join our Contracts and Corporate Department in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of UAE law and Common Law principles, with proven expertise in contract drafting, corporate advisory, and legal compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide practical legal solutions in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, service agreements, NDAs, joint venture agreements, and shareholder agreements.
  • Provide legal advice on contract law, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and business structuring.
  • Interpret and apply both UAE legislation and Common Law principles in cross-border and international transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Civil and Commercial Codes, corporate regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist with company formation, restructuring, and liquidation under UAE mainland and free zone authorities.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to corporate operations.
  • Liaise with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and government entities as needed.
  • Support management in risk assessment, dispute prevention, and legal strategy development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB); Master's in Corporate or Commercial Law preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of legal experience, ideally in the UAE or a Common Law jurisdiction.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong understanding of contract drafting, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of UAE legal systems and Common Law frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and drafting skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to work independently or within a team.
