Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Cook to prepare nutritious, attractive, and tasty meals, ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and presentation for our residence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Prep ingredients (chop, measure), cook meals (grill, sauté, bake) following recipes and dietary needs.
  • Quality Control: Ensure food is cooked to correct temperatures, portioned accurately, and presented appealingly.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintain clean workstations, equipment, and storage areas; adhere to food safety/allergen regulations (HACCP, COSHH).
  • Stock Management: Monitor ingredient levels, rotate stock (FIFO), store food properly, and report shortages.
  • Kitchen Operations: Set up workstations, operate kitchen equipment, and clean as you go.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen/front-of-house staff and follow instructions from managers.

Requirements

  • Previous cooking experience (preferred).
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, equipment, and food safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and pay attention to detail.
  • Good communication and a positive, reliable attitude.

Working Hours

  • Approximately 20 hours per week, Daily from 9AM to 1PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Villa in Rashidiya

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED2, AED2,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 per week
