Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Planner specializing in crowd modeling to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for complex transportation challenges, with a focus on crowd management and pedestrian flow in urban environments.

• Lead and execute crowd modeling projects for large-scale transportation and urban development initiatives
• Analyze and interpret data to forecast pedestrian movement patterns and optimize transportation systems
• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate crowd modeling insights into broader transportation planning strategies
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in transport planning and crowd modeling
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the department
• Ensure compliance with local and international transportation standards and regulations
• Participate in client meetings and proposal development to secure new projects

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Transportation Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in transport planning, with a strong focus on crowd modeling
• Advanced knowledge of crowd modeling software and transportation planning tools
• Proven track record in managing and delivering large-scale transportation projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Excellent project management abilities and experience leading cross-functional teams
• Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• In-depth understanding of crowd dynamics and pedestrian flow principles
• Knowledge of local and international transportation standards and regulations
• Familiarity with sustainable transportation practices and their implementation
• Professional certification in transport planning (e.g., PTOE, PTP) preferred
• Experience working in the Middle East region is advantageous
