The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire marble factory production process, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, timely delivery, and compliance with safety and operational standards. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and controlling production operations to meet company targets while optimizing resources and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Operations

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily and weekly production activities.
  • Ensure timely execution of cutting, polishing, edging, fabrication, and finishing processes.
  • Monitor production output to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements.
  • Optimize machinery utilization and minimize production downtime.

2. Quality Control

  • Implement and monitor quality standards for marble slabs, tiles, and customized items.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet company and client specifications.
  • Take corrective actions on defects, rework, and non-conformance issues.

3. Team Management

  • Supervise and lead production supervisors, machine operators, technicians, and labor workforce.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure proper training for staff.
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and safety practices across the production floor.

4. Machinery & Maintenance

  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for cutting machines, polishing lines, CNC machines, and other equipment.
  • Ensure maximum machine efficiency and minimize breakdowns.
  • Work with the maintenance team to schedule servicing and repair tasks.

5. Inventory & Material Management

  • Monitor raw materials, consumables, and tools required for production.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels of marble blocks, slabs, adhesives, blades, and other items.
  • Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of materials.

6. Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and factory regulations.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct training for workers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
  • Maintain records of production output, wastage, machine performance, and workforce productivity.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in marble, granite, or stone production industry.
  • Strong understanding of marble cutting, polishing, CNC fabrication, and finishing processes.
  • Experience in managing large factory operations and labor teams.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and decision-making abilities.
  • Problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in production software, MS Office, and ERP systems (preferred).
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

Work Conditions

  • Based at the marble factory site.
  • Requires presence on production floor and supervision of shifts as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3, AED5,000.00 per month
