Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Cyber Security Analyst role located in Mangalore. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing cybersecurity threats, ensuring application and network security, and identifying potential vulnerabilities. The role involves performing malware analysis, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with organizational cybersecurity policies. The selected candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect sensitive information and maintain system integrity while keeping up with the latest technologies and threats in the cybersecurity domain.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Officer to lead and manage the company's cybersecurity compliance framework. The role involves implementing robust security structures, maintaining audit documentation, and ensuring continuous readiness for internal and external audits. This individual will act as the key liaison between the company and auditors, ensuring that all controls, evidence, and reports are well-documented and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Develop, implement, and maintain the company's information security compliance framework in alignment with industry standards.

·      Prepare, organize, and manage all documentation and evidence required for cybersecurity and compliance audits.

·      Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, coordinating audit activities and facilitating responses to findings.

·      Monitor and evaluate existing security controls, policies, and procedures to ensure continued compliance.

·      Conduct regular risk assessments, gap analyses, and internal reviews to identify and resolve non-compliance issues.

·      Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security policies and best practices are effectively implemented.

·      Manage incident response documentation and ensure corrective actions are tracked and completed.

·      Stay up to date with changes in cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC 2).

·      Support training and awareness programs on compliance and information security practices across the company.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

·      3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, audit coordination, or IT governance.

·      Experience with Implementing Cyber security technologies e.g. Firewalls, SIEM tools, IDP, IPS, Cloud security

·      Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, etc.).

·      Hands-on experience with documentation management and audit readiness.

·      Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with internal teams and external auditors.

·      Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are preferred.
