Role Purpose
The Director – Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP) serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, driving the people agenda across the organization. This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with human capital strategies, fostering a highperformance culture, and enabling organizational growth through effective talent management, workforce planning, and leadership development.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support business goals.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design efforts across business units.
- Drive talent acquisition strategies for critical roles, ensuring alignment with future capability needs.
- Champion employee engagement, performance management, and career development programs.
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, organizational change, and leadership coaching.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) in Compensation & Benefits, Talent Development, and HR Operations to deliver integrated solutions.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to inform decision-making and identify trends or risks.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and internal governance policies.
- Lead change management initiatives and support cultural transformation efforts.
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, enabling effective people leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
- Minimum 10–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior business partnering role.
- Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving strategic HR initiatives.
- Strong understanding of UAE labor law and regional HR practices.
- Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed, or multinational environment is highly desirable.
- Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead through influence and drive change.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in HR data and reporting tools.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
