Job Summary:

Responsible for carrying out complete mechanical installation of passenger and goods elevators. Must be able to handle the installation process independently from start to handover, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install elevator mechanical components including rails, machine units, car frames, counterweights, doors, and safety devices.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and site layouts.
  • Measure, mark, and prepare shafts in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform complete installation works with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and electrical technicians to ensure smooth progress.
  • Conduct alignment, leveling, and adjustments of all mechanical parts.
  • Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with relevant standards (EN 81 & local regulations).
  • Report progress, issues, and material requirements to the supervisor.
  • Support testing and commissioning teams as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in elevator mechanical installation (passenger or goods lifts).
  • Strong knowledge of installation sequences and site safety.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver full installations without supervision.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights.
  • Preferably with experience in multi-brand elevator systems.
