Key Responsibilities

  • Take full accountability for profit and loss performance of the international LNG trading business
  • Develop and execute LNG trading strategies to grow and optimize the trading portfolio
  • Conduct due diligence and commercial assessments of LNG term and spot suppliers
  • Lead negotiations for LNG trades and commercial agreements to secure optimal terms
  • Define procurement and sales strategies aligned with market conditions and business objectives
  • Oversee execution and monitoring of spot, short-term, and long-term LNG contracts
  • Prepare and present management reports covering trade performance, market trends, and market intelligence
  • Ensure all LNG trading activities comply with internal policies, governance standards, and risk frameworks
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the trading team, driving collaboration and high-performance standards

Desired Candidate Profile

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in LNG or gas trading with a strong and verifiable track record
  • Established relationships and networks across global LNG and gas markets
  • Strong commercial and international business management expertise
  • Deep understanding of the LNG and gas value chain, market dynamics, and industry trends
  • Solid knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, contract structures, and commercial practices
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and counterparty coordination skills
  • High analytical capability with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
