Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end execution of natural gas trading operations and timely delivery of physical trades
  • Coordinate with traders, counterparties, shippers, terminals, and internal teams to ensure accurate scheduling of gas flows
  • Strategize and schedule vessels jointly with LNG chartering, trading, and operations teams
  • Monitor daily operations including nominations, allocations, balancing, and contract settlement
  • Manage shipping and logistics documentation in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Optimize LNG loading and unloading operations and communicate operational details clearly to stakeholders
  • Track inventory movements and reconcile discrepancies across pipelines, storage facilities, and counterparties
  • Prepare and verify invoices, supporting documents, and settlement statements with finance teams
  • Maintain awareness of market regulations, operational requirements, and industry best practices
  • Support system enhancements, process improvements, and operational risk management initiatives
  • Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving operational issues

Desired Candidate Profile

Ideal Profile

  • Degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies, or an equivalent discipline
  • Three to five years of LNG shipping operations experience with oil majors or trading houses
  • Seagoing experience on tanker vessels is an advantage
  • Good understanding of multi-commodity shipping operations and time charter party terms
  • Strong technical, analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools
  • Team-oriented professional capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
