Role Description

We are seeking a skilled
Pre-Contract Quantity Surveyor
to prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for infrastructure/Building projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, evaluating supplier quotes, and supporting the tendering process to ensure competitive and compliant bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Your tasks and responsibilities shall include the following but not limited to:

  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs from tender drawings and related documents.
  • Review project drawings thoroughly to identify and include any missing items not covered in the client's BOQs.
  • Measure and calculate precise quantities for lump-sum or included items in the BOQ.
  • Verify and assess re-measured and provisional items.
  • Prepare comparison sheets for evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Calculate quantities related to variation orders for ongoing infrastructure projects.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience:
Minimum 6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on
pre-contract estimating for infrastructure/Building projects
.

Skills & competencies:

Experience with estimation and drafting software
, including PlanSwift, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
