Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Sharjah. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting annual audits. The role also includes ensuring compliance with financial regulations and assisting the finance team with budget preparation and financial planning.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
  • Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance requirements is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous
