Job Title: HSE Officer – Fit-out Projects

To ensure that all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulations are effectively implemented and maintained during civil and fit-out project activities, ensuring compliance with local authorities and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor HSE plans, policies, and procedures in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure safe work practices and compliance with Trakhees regulations.
  • Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for site personnel.
  • Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, including risk assessments, incident reports, and inspection logs.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure all fit-out and civil activities meet safety standards.
  • Report unsafe conditions and assist in accident/incident investigations.
  • Liaise with Trakhees and other relevant authorities for HSE approvals and inspections.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Trakhees Approval with a valid SARS Card (mandatory).
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (mandatory).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HSE roles within Civil or Fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and Trakhees standards.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams on-site.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in First Aid and Fire Safety.
  • Experience in preparing and conducting safety training sessions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting systems.
