Position Objective:

To contribute to the achievement of the company's objectives by bringing a systematic approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

  • Assist the Internal Audit Director in conducting internal audit assignments.
  • Collect and prepare audit paperwork in an organized manner.
  • Preparing draft internal audit report.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Internal Auditor. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the company's internal controls, risk management processes, and governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IIA standards, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform risk assessment and develop draft audit program to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Assist department of internal Audit in implementation of IIA standards.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the company's internal risk management processes and governance.
  • Prepare draft audit reports documenting findings, recommendations, and action plans for management.
  • Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective actions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CA inter, ACCA/CIA part qualified is preferred.

Experience:

  • Two years of UAE Internal Audit experience in the financial sector.
  • Experience in implementing IIA standards is preferred.

Special Skills and Requirements:

  • Computer expertise including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data.
  • Good report writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work with deadlines and without close supervision.

Language:

  • Fluent in English Language (spoken and written)

Salary:
AED 7,000-10,000
