Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abu Dhabi for a Senior Sales Engineer – Solar. The Senior Sales Engineer will oversee the promotion and sales of solar solutions, including advising clients, proposing customized renewable energy solutions, and driving lead conversion. The responsibilities include managing client relationships, conducting technical demonstrations, and ensuring the seamless handoff of contracts to implementation teams. The individual will also analyze market trends, prepare detailed commercial proposals, and collaborate with technical teams to meet client specifications.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in sales, client relationship management, and business development within the solar or renewable energy sector.
  • Technical knowledge of solar energy solutions, including PV systems, grid integration, and energy storage projects.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals, as well as understanding industry-specific contracts and tenders.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and provide strategic insights for business growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related field) is required; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills within the MENA region are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as necessary to meet client and project demands.
