We are a Jebel Ali–based trading company specializing in coffee and paper products. We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and coordinate shipping, inventory, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the trading / import-export industry and a strong understanding of logistics processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier communication
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and track deliveries to ensure on-time receipt and dispatch
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or overstocking
  • Assist in planning and optimizing transport routes and costs
  • Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations, import-export requirements, and company policies
  • Prepare and maintain logistics reports, including shipment status, delivery timelines, and performance metrics
  • Resolve operational issues related to shipment delays, damages, or documentation errors
  • Support senior management in logistics planning and process improvements

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in trading / import-export
  • Strong understanding of shipping, freight forwarding, and customs procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with logistics software is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
