Position Summary

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Steward to join our team in Fujairah. The Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in both the kitchen and service areas, ensuring that all equipment and tableware meet our high hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dishwashing & Sanitization:
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing machines.
  • Hand‐wash pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure all items are sanitized and stored correctly.
  • Kitchen & Service Area Hygiene:
  • Keep floors, walls, and workstations clean and free of debris.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste according to health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, refrigerators, and storage areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
  • Inspect dishwashing and cleaning equipment daily and report any malfunctions.
  • Perform routine cleaning of equipment and filters.
  • Stock & Supply Support:
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning agents, detergents, and kitchen disposables; report shortages.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of kitchen supplies.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely turnover of clean tableware and equipment.
  • Support servers and runners during peak service by replenishing trays and clearing used items.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a stewarding, dishwashing, or general kitchen support role (hotel or restaurant experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment and industrial cleaning chemicals.
  • Knowledge of hygiene and food‐safety regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can‐do attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 kg safely.
