About Wynn Al Marjan Island:
On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Casual Dining to join the resort's Food and Beverage team.

Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Ensure efficient and effective cross-departmental communication to make every dining experience successful
  • Ensure food and beverage quality and presentation meet the highest standards
  • Prepare and present daily reports to management.
  • Establish and monitor customer service goals
  • Provide supervision, direction and leadership to the management team to achieve department goals
  • Delegate tasks fairly and equitably among the restaurant management team and promote teamwork
  • Coach, motivate, counsel and evaluate management staff and encourage their participation in
  • decision-making
  • Identify and develop each Team Members' individual strengths to maximise team performance
  • Interact with Department and Company Team Members, management, and contractors professionally and positively
  • Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communication
  • Test and correct any deviations from service procedures swiftly through on the job training
  • Assess service standards and arrange training sessions and refresher courses for management staff in coordination with the F&B Trainer
  • Promote a work environment where employees feel valued, appreciated, involved, equal and safe

About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Promote a work environment where employees feel valued, appreciated, involved, equal and safe
  • Excellent product knowledge of Western, Arabic and Indian cuisines; WSET 1, budgeting and cash handling experience
  • English and two other languages will be preferred
  • Excellent leadership, management and supervisory abilities
  • Self-motivated, organised, confident, friendly and polite
