Overview

A well-established and diversified business group with operations across
agriculture, food processing, and trading
is seeking a
strategic and experienced finance leader
to strengthen its financial governance, drive operational efficiency, and support business scalability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling complex financial environments, implementing robust systems, and managing large-scale operations.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and execute the company's
    financial strategy
    in alignment with its long-term business goals.
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to provide
    strategic financial insights
    and data-driven recommendations.
  • Oversee
    budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital investment planning
    .
  • Establish and enhance
    financial systems, processes, and internal control frameworks
    across business units.
  • Lead the
    preparation, review, and presentation
    of financial statements, management reports, and performance analysis.
  • Drive
    trade finance operations
    including
    letters of credit (LC), bank guarantees (BG), supplier credit
    , and working capital management.
  • Manage
    treasury and liquidity planning
    , ensuring optimal use of financial resources.
  • Ensure
    compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements
    .
  • Develop and implement
    cost control and efficiency improvement initiatives
    .
  • Manage
    banking relationships
    , funding arrangements, and investor communications.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team to ensure organizational excellence.
  • Support
    M&A, investment analysis, and business expansion initiatives
    .
  • Drive
    financial digital transformation
    , ERP implementation, and automation within finance functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Finance, Accounting, or Economics;
    MBA, CPA, CA, or CMA
    preferred.
  • 10–15+ years
    of progressive finance experience, including
    5+ years in senior leadership roles
    .
  • Proven experience handling
    complex, multi-entity financial environments
    with
    annual turnover
    of
    AED 1 billion
    or more.
  • Strong expertise in
    trade finance, treasury operations,
    and
    risk management
    .
  • Demonstrated success in
    setting up or restructuring financial systems and processes
    .
  • Sound understanding of
    financial planning, budgeting, cost optimization
    , and compliance frameworks.
  • Exposure to
    ERP systems
    and financial process automation.
  • Excellent
    leadership, stakeholder management, and communication
    skills.
  • Strong business acumen, ethics, and ability to operate effectively in a
    diversified and fast-paced industry
    .
