Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman (Joinery) to create accurate technical drawings and production details for bespoke joinery works. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of joinery construction, materials, hardware, and finishes, along with excellent drafting skills using AutoCAD and related software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed shop drawings, architectural drawings, production drawings, and cutting lists for all joinery items including cabinets, wardrobes, doors, wall paneling, counters, and custom furniture.
  • Interpret architectural drawings, interior design concepts, and technical specifications to produce accurate joinery solutions.
  • Coordinate with the production team, project managers, and site engineers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project specifications.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback from clients, architects, consultants, or the production team.
  • Maintain organized drawing records and ensure proper version control.
  • Assist in material take-offs and measurements related to joinery items.
  • Participate in design meetings and site visits when necessary to verify dimensions and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–5 years of experience in joinery drafting in Dubai.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or similar software is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of joinery fabrication methods, cabinetry construction, and woodworking materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2, AED5,000.00 per month
