**Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Specialist based in Abu Dhabi. The responsibilities include identifying and generating new business opportunities, conducting market research, developing and nurturing client relationships, and managing the pre-sales process. The specialist will collaborate closely with the sales team to strategize and execute plans that drive revenue growth while maintaining high customer service standards. The role involves active engagement with distributors, contractors, consultants, and industry stakeholders within the electrical sector.

Qualifications


• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and evaluate business opportunities


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, partners, and internal teams


• Expertise in lead generation and market research to identify prospective customers and industry trends


• High proficiency in customer service to foster trust and maintain long-term business relationships


• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment and adapt to evolving client needs


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field


• Experience in the electrical engineering sector or related industries is an advantage


• Prior sales experience in Earthing/Grounding Systems, Cabling Accessories, Lightning Protection, or similar electrical products is a strong advantage


• Proficiency in CRM tools—especially Zoho CRM—is highly beneficial


• Candidate must have valid accommodation arrangements in the UAE


• A valid UAE driving license is mandatory for client visits and business travel


• Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and build a strong client pipeline**
