Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to lead the financial strategy and operations of our Dubai-based real estate investment platform. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience across
real estate development, investment management, fund structures, and large-scale asset portfolios
, with a strong understanding of regulatory and commercial environments across the
UAE and wider MENA region
.

This is a pivotal executive role responsible for driving financial performance, overseeing investment governance, strengthening capital structures, and supporting the long-term strategic growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and lead the organisation's financial strategy, long-term capital plan, and growth roadmap across MENA markets.
  • Advise senior leadership and the Board on financial performance, investment strategy, risk, and portfolio optimisation.
  • Build financial frameworks that support diversified investment models across development, income-producing assets, and fund structures.

Investment, M&A & Deal Support

  • Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and new market entries across the region.
  • Oversee financial modelling, feasibility studies, and asset-level scenario analysis.
  • Present investment proposals and financial insights to Investment Committees and external stakeholders.

Capital Markets & Funding

  • Structure and secure financing across the region, including project finance, bilateral/multi-bank facilities, mezzanine financing, and investor capital.
  • Manage relationships with regional lenders, investment partners, sovereign entities, and financial institutions.
  • Optimise cost of capital through proactive treasury, liquidity, and cashflow management.

Portfolio, Asset & Fund Finance

  • Oversee financial reporting at project, SPV, portfolio, and fund levels in line with IFRS and MENA regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate NAV reporting, asset valuation oversight, and performance monitoring.
  • Drive portfolio analytics including IRR, cash yield, WACC, and capital allocation efficiency.

Governance, Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

  • Ensure full compliance with UAE and MENA regulators, including DLD, RERA, ADGM, DIFC, and relevant GCC frameworks.
  • Oversee management of escrow accounts, trust accounts, and project-related regulatory obligations.
  • Lead audit processes, tax strategy, and implementation of internal controls.

Operational & Organisational Leadership

  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team across the UAE and relevant regional markets.
  • Lead financial systems optimisation, including ERP, BI, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with development, asset management, acquisitions, and operations to align financial and commercial objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant, CPA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or similar preferred.
  • 15+ years of finance leadership experience
    , with at least
    7 years in the UAE/MENA region

  • Proven background in
    real estate investments, development finance, private equity real estate, or large diversified groups
    .
  • Strong understanding of MENA regulatory frameworks, project finance, real estate valuation, and fund structuring.
