Our client is looking for a
Senior Accountant (Arabic Speaker)
to manage end-to-end accounting activities, ensure accuracy, compliance, and provide reliable financial insights to support business decision-making. Industry-specific experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for a strong accounting professional with solid fundamentals and leadership maturity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting activities including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and management accounts in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, cash flow monitoring, and bank reconciliations
  • Review and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency across records
  • Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and controls
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff where required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Senior-level accounting experience with strong hands-on exposure to core accounting functions
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in Arabic with good working proficiency in English
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently
