Manage independently small and medium sized projects, ensure client's needs are met and established processes and procedures are deployed at the client site, ensuring all projects are managed and executed in timely and cost-effective manner

Responsibilities

  • Determines, monitors, and reviews all project metrics including earned vs. planned value, operational budgets and expenditures, resource requirements, sub-contractors' performance, risks, and issues registers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimum project execution, quality, and delivery. Internal teams include Enterprise and Solution Architects, IT Security, and Service Management.
  • Collaborate with external teams, where applicable, to ensure clear, complaint, and timely communication of requirement, activities, deliverables, and expected outcomes. External teams include vendors, client's related entities, and subsidiaries of contracted managed services providers.
  • Manages/controls, tracks, and reports on project scope, progress, change management, risks, issues, and actions.
  • Conducts status review meetings among project team members and client ensuring project delivery excellence.
  • Leverages internal systems and tools, and utilizes available technology to develop decision-making options, risk mitigation, resolve issues, and rectify noncompliance.
  • Produces all applicable project management documentation, as per adopted project management methodology and client specific required custom documentation.
  • Complies with applicable PMO and client specific templates, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree; preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems management, or Business Management
  • Certified
    Associate project Manager Professional (CAPM) or
    Project Manager Professional (PMP)
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in information technology business or any technology management and policy focused industry
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Excellent communication skills with excellent command of the English Language. Arabic is also desirable.
