Location: Abu Dhabi

We are looking for a Lead Field Engineer - Process (Site based) for one of our clients with the following details:

Start date: 1 month or less

Contract Duration: 1 year - extendable

Location: Bab and Buhasa - Habshan and Adco (flexible to work on any of these in Abu Dhabi)

Qualification and Experience required:

  • Bachelors in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering or related field.
  • Mandatory 15+ years of experience required in filed process engineering in OIL and GAS projects only.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage field engineering activities for process - related projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to specifications.
  • Provide expert guidance on process engineering issues, troubleshooting and solutions during project implementation.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety on site.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering teams, contractors and clients to ensure project alignment and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of engineering designs, modifications and progress reports for project accountability.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and field staff to enhance their technical competencies and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement quality control measures to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of process systems in the field.
  • Very good interpersonal skills - Communication, Cooperation, collaboration, etc.
