With a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction, we are expanding our operational team and seeking an experienced Store Manager to strengthen our supply chain and fabrication workflow.
Role Objective
The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, ensuring accurate inventory control, and managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of fabrication materials. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills and hands-on experience in store management within the fabrication or engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all store operations with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
Maintain updated and accurate inventory of fabrication materials, consumables, and equipment.
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes; prepare GRN and related documents.
Issue materials to fabrication and production teams as per job requirements.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and bin allocation for all stock items.
Maintain stock levels and prepare routine inventory and consumption reports.
Coordinate closely with Procurement, Production, and Quality Control departments.
Identify slow-moving, surplus, and critical items and escalate appropriately.
Ensure safety compliance and proper housekeeping within the store premises.
Manage ERP-based inventory systems (experience preferred).
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5–6 years of experience in store management within the fabrication/metal works/engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of fabrication raw materials such as MS, SS, structural steel, plates, and profiles.
Familiarity with workshop consumables, tools, spare parts, and equipment.
Proficiency in documentation and inventory management systems (ERP exposure preferred).
Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
