JOB OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic AI/ML Intern to join our team. You will help design and develop an intelligent system that can read, understand, and analyze financial statements using modern AI techniques (OCR, NLP, LLMs).
The goal: automate the extraction, standardization, and scoring of financial data from various document formats.
*ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Collaborate with senior officials to understand project requirements and goals.
- Build and improve pipelines to extract and structure data from financial statements (PDFs, images, text).
- Use NLP and document AI models to interpret financial terminology and detect key insights.
- Contribute to cleaning and standardizing financial data.
- Participate in creating an automated financial scoring and reporting tool.
- Document your work and share findings with the team.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, or AI Engineering.
- Strong Python skills (pandas, regex, data manipulation).
- Familiarity with NLP / LLM tools (spaCy, Hugging Face, OpenAI API) or OCR/Parsing models (Docling, Tesseract,..).
- Interest in finance, data, and applied AI.
- Curious, analytical, autonomous, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in AI, Computer Science, or a related field.
*PREFERRED SKILLS*
- Experience with NLP,LLMs, document digitalization, or data extraction projects.
- Basic understanding of database management.
- Previous internship or project experience in AI/ML.
