At Ali & Sons Motors Division, we take pride in driving excellence and innovation across the UAE automotive industry. We are looking for a Branch Accountant to play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency at our showroom branch.
 

As a Branch Accountant, you'll be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the branch through accurate reporting, compliance, and operational support. You'll collaborate closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure all branch transactions align with company policies and standards.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily bank deposit entries based on deposit slips and credit card advice.
  • Confirm prices on sales orders (if assigned) and verify daily cash collections.
  • Review and post petty cash and corporate credit card transactions.
  • Confirm customer payments from bank statements and credit advice.
  • Ensure VAT and IFRS compliance on all branch transactions.
  • Conduct periodic cash, stock, and collection reconciliations.
  • Support showroom operations by managing cash desk and assisting with inventory checks.
  • Follow up on pending traffic fines, training advances, and other branch-related transactions.
  • Minimize risks of errors and fraud through diligent review and reporting.
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Senior or Chief Accountant.
     

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the automotive or retail sector.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and IFRS standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail, integrity, and strong analytical skills.
