Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Customs Clearance Specialist located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Customs Clearance Specialist will be responsible for handling the customs declaration process for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements. The role includes coordinating with customs authorities, clients, and internal teams to facilitate smooth cargo clearance and providing updates on shipment status. This position plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods through customs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Customs Brokerage and expertise in compliance with relevant regulations
  • Strong capability in Import and Export procedures, including import/export documentation and operations
  • Excellent Communication skills to liaise with customs authorities, clients, and internal teams
  • Background in Import Export operations, ensuring efficient management of cross-border logistics
  • Familiarity with Middle Eastern customs regulations is preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a relevant field
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages, particularly Arabic or Chinese, is a plus
