  • Assist chefs and cooks in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and plating.
  • Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as instructed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, workstations, and storage areas.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces regularly.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Dispose of waste and maintain proper garbage segregation practices.
  • Support with dishwashing and cleaning duties during and after meal service.
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and health regulations as set by the establishment.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Helper, or similar role in hotels, restaurants, or catering services.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Physically fit to handle standing work and moderate lifting.
  • Good communication skills; basic English knowledge preferred.
  • Candidates with prior GCC or overseas hospitality experience will be an advantage.
