IBANs, named accounts and local currency collection. Through DigiCollect, we help enterprises and fintechs collect funds seamlessly across multiple jurisdictions—bridging traditional banking, PSPs, EMIs, and emerging digital rails.

The Role

This is a
true build-and-scale role
, owns end-to-end responsibility for establishing and managing correspondent banking relationships, enabling multi-currency collections, ensuring regulatory alignment, and delivering resilient settlement infrastructure across markets.

What you'll do

  • Build and expand Digit 9's global banking & EMI partner network, with strong focus on MEA, APAC, UK and Europe
  • Secure Tier-1 and Tier-2 banking relationships for local currency collections and FX settlement
  • Lead commercial and technical negotiations (virtual accounts, settlement rails, pricing, SLAs)
  • Enable multi-rail settlement across SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments, ACH, ISO 20022, APIs
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal, Treasury, Product, and Engineering to scale compliantly
  • Own senior bank relationships, QBRs, performance governance, and risk mitigation

What we're looking for

  • 12–18 years in transaction banking, payments, correspondent banking, or settlement infrastructure
  • Proven experience building banking relationships across UK, Europe, MEA, or APAC
  • Strong understanding of FCA-regulated EMIs, Tier-1 banks, and cross-border collections
  • Commercially strong negotiator with regulatory and operational depth
  • Fintech, EMI, or platform experience highly preferred
  • Exposure to digital assets / stablecoins is a plus
