Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes (North Indian, South Indian, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian).
  • Prepare selected Arabic dishes, such as biryani variations, kababs, mandi, grills, hummus, falafel, and other Middle Eastern specialties.
  • Follow traditional recipes and create new dishes when required.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet high standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Manage food inventory, storage, and preparation of ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Work efficiently under pressure during peak times.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff when required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Indian Cook; knowledge of Arabic cuisine is essential.
  • Strong understanding of Indian spices, curries, tandoor cooking, and regional dishes.
  • Ability to prepare popular Arabic foods (e.g., mandi, kabsa, grilled items, shawarma basics, mezze).
  • Good communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility with work hours, including weekends if needed.
