MEP Coordinator - Abu Al Naga Contracting (Dubai, UAE)

Job Summary

Abu Al Naga Contracting, a leading construction company in Dubai, is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to oversee, manage, and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and ELV works across multiple high-end projects. The ideal candidate must have a solid UAE background with strong technical, coordination, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all MEP design, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Lead design reviews, shop drawing approvals, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Ensure full coordination between MEP, civil, architectural, and subcontractor teams.
  • Manage on-site supervision for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and ELV works.
  • Ensure strict compliance with UAE codes and obtain necessary approvals from DEWA, DCD, DM, Trakhees, RTA and other authorities.
  • Monitor project schedules, cost control, QA/QC procedures, and HSE requirements.
  • Prepare weekly progress reports and resolve technical/site issues.
  • Lead coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Support and mentor the MEP team to ensure smooth execution and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in MEP coordination for building or infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of HVAC, Electrical systems, Plumbing, Firefighting, and ELV systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and coordination tools.
  • Strong understanding of local standards, codes, and approval processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • UAE driving license is an added advantage.
